If there is a successful marriage between cheese and mussels, it is that of mussels with Roquefort. A fine recipe, easy and quick to make.
Ingredients for 2 people:
- 150 g of Roquefort
- 1 kg of mussels
- 1 C. cornstarch
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 glasses of white wine
- 1 small shallot
- 1 clove of garlic.
Roquefort mussels recipe
Pour the mussels in a large saucepan with the white wine, shallot and ground garlic. Let them open.
Filter the juice, put it in a small saucepan. Keep the mussels warm. In a ramekin, put the egg yolk, cornstarch and mash the Roquefort. Add to the juice in the pan and cook for 3 minutes.
Pour this mixture over the mussels and serve.
Recommended wine: a Sauvignon blanc.
