Gardening

Enter the secret gardens of Essonne

On October 6 and 7, meet at Colette, Igor and Tamara, Maya, Pascal, Micheline or even Nicolas and Simone to discover their magnificent gardens.

As part of the event "Secrets of gardens in Essonne, Autumn », These individuals are happy to welcome you October 6 and 7, 2012 to show you their little corners of paradise that they have lovingly furnished.

In total, more than thirty parks, vegetable gardens, ornamental, fruit, pleasure or parish gardens will exceptionally open their doors to the public. Discovery of astonishing creations, moments of sharing, exchange and conviviality between amateurs and enthusiasts, not to mention various activities and workshops in the company of professionals, the program of these two days is not lacking in attractions. Young and old are invited to come stroll through these unique and often magical places that make up the beauty of this department located to the south of Paris.

These visits are sure to amaze more than one, especially in this season. Because, in fact, autumn holds its share of surprises. While some plants metamorphose, others disappear and still others finally wake up. Most of these plant settings will therefore have already put on their flamboyant clothes for this event. And so, under the light of October, these havens of peace will unveil some of their unsuspected wonders. A dazzling spectacle that is very pleasant to contemplate before the first frost in winter.
