On June 15 and 16, at the Arboretum de Chèvreloup, it is the festival of plants and plant diversity to delight all amateur gardeners. Biodiversity will invade the garden, the terrace, the balcony, the house.
ASPECO, an association of nursery collectors, is once again the partner of the National Museum of Natural History for this 5th edition.
The Association brought together 40 nurserymen and producers offering more than 4,000 species of plants: climbers, scents, perennials, shade, arid or aquatic land, honey, rare ... but also trees, shrubs, roses, grasses, bamboo, old vegetables, seeds ... Whatever your desires, your needs, this great diversity will panic your "gardening sense". You will be able to admire, watch, question, exchange, and also buy.
Prepare your summer, garden biodiversity
All the plants presented are cultivated with respect for their nature and with respect for Nature
This is the philosophy of ASPECO members who exhibit at Chèvreloup. They will be happy to explain the best practices of sustainable and organic gardening to you.
You can take advantage of the presence of associations that promote an "ecological" approach to plants, horticulture, nature, the garden and the apiary (SNHF, SCA, SHY, ARBRES, JBF, AFCPO).
Their members will be able to share with you their enthusiasm for the areas of each of them
Take advantage of this visit to spend a "spicy moment" in the "cacti and succulents" exhibition, at the reception pavilion, where 250 species of plants from the arid zones of America, Africa and Madagascar have exceptionally left the greenhouses. de Chèvreloup, inaccessible to the public, and posed in majesty in decorations evoking their living environments. Rare and endangered, they have found great ways to cope with the lack of water and the heat.
