Make a composter yourself

There is a very economical and simple to achieve.

You just have to form a square with 4 pallets that you will tie together with wire and that you will put directly on the ground.

  • Choose a place sheltered from the wind, not too sunny and easily accessible.
  • Place a layer of straw, leaves or twig about 15 to 20 cm in the bottom.
  • Aerate the pile regularly to prevent the materials from rotting between them and having the same level of decomposition.
  • If the pile becomes too dry, do not hesitate to water to maintain the moisture level that the material needs

The ventilation provided by the space between the slats is excellent and thus allows your waste to decompose optimally.

It is a good idea to have a trap door at the bottom of one of the pallets to collect the compost under the pile that you will have formed.

One last tip, if you want your composter to last over time, opt for class IV wood which is the only one that resists bad weather.

Smart tip, the compost activator

By stimulating the action of bacteria and microbial flora present in the compost, you speed up the process composting.

This is a formula 100% natural and usable in organic farming which improves the decomposition of waste.

This is the guarantee of a compost of best quality and usable more quickly.
