Carrot puree: fine and smooth


Carrots are a vegetable that can be cooked perfectly as a puree, especially to accompany poultry and game.

Ingredients for 4 persons :

  • 500 g of carrot
  • 1 potatoes mash
  • 25g butter
  • 20 cl of sour cream
  • Salt, pepper

The carrot puree recipe is both quick and easy to make and the result is really delicious! (and not just for the little ones!)

  • Start by peeling the carrots and the potato
  • Wash the vegetables thoroughly
  • Cut the potato and carrots into pieces
  • Fill a large saucepan with salted water and bring to a boil
  • Put the pieces of potatoes and carrot in boiling water
  • Cook for 15 minutes over a covered heat
  • Once cooked, drain well in a drainer
  • Then put in a blender with the butter, crème fraîche and possibly a little milk to have a good consistency, neither too thick nor too liquid
  • Salt, pepper

Carrot puree is served hot, as an accompaniment to lamb, white meat, game, or even fish.

By associating it with a broccoli puree or celery you vary the pleasures and colors!
