༄༅། །དྲག་པོ་རྟ་ཁྱུང་གསོལ་འདེབས་བདུད་བཞིའི་གཡུལ་རྒྱལ།

Victorious in the Battle with the Four Demons

A Prayer to the Lineage of the Wrathful Guru, Hayagrīva and Garuḍa

རྣམ་ཀུན་མཆོག་ལྡན་ཆོས་སྐུ་ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་། །

namkün chokden chöku kuntuzang

Samantabhadra, the dharmakāya endowed with the supreme of all qualities,

ངེས་པ་ལྔ་ལྡན་ལོངས་སྐུ་རིགས་ལྔ་དང་། །

ngepa ngaden longku rik nga dang

Saṃbhogakāya of the five families, complete with the five certainties,

སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ་མཆོག་པདྨ་ཐོད་ཕྲེང་ལ། །

trulpé ku chok pema tötreng la

And the supreme nirmāṇakāya, Pema Tötrengtsal—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་མཆོག་ཐུན་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

solwa deb so choktün ngödrub tsol

To you I pray: grant me the attainments, ordinary and supreme!

ཟབ་གཏེར་མངའ་བདག་རིག་འཛིན་འཇིགས་མེད་གླིང་། །

zabter ngadak rigdzin jikme ling

Sovereign of profound treasures, vidyādhara Jigme Lingpa,

གྲུབ་པའི་དབང་ཕྱུག་ཕྲིན་ལས་འོད་ཟེར་དང་། །

drubpé wangchuk trinlé özer dang

Mighty lord of siddhas, Trinle Özer,

སྙིང་རྗེའི་དབང་ཕྱུག་རྒྱལ་བའི་མྱུ་གུའི་ཞབས། །

nyingjé wangchuk gyalwé nyugü zhab

And the lord of compassion, Gyalwé Nyugu—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་མཆོག་ཐུན་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

solwa deb so choktün ngödrub tsol

To you I pray: grant me the attainments, ordinary and supreme!

བཀའ་བབ་བདུན་བདག་འཇམ་དབྱངས་མཁྱེན་བརྩེའི་དབང་། །

kabab dün dak jamyang khyentsé wang

Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, blessed with the seven types of authoritative transmission,

བརྒྱུད་གསུམ་ཀུན་འདུས་དྲི་མེད་ཀློང་ཡངས་རྩལ། །

gyü sum kündü drimé long yang tsal

Drime Longyang Tsal,¹ in whom the three lineages converged,

མགོན་དེས་རྗེས་བཟུང་རྡོ་རྗེ་རབ་བསྔགས་ལ། །

gön dé jezung dorjé rab ngak la

And Dorje Rabngak, whom that protector of beings² held in his care—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་མཆོག་ཐུན་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

solwa deb so choktün ngödrub tsol

To you I pray: grant me the attainments, ordinary and supreme!

མཚན་ཙམ་ཐོས་པས་བར་ཆད་གཡུལ་ལས་རྒྱལ། །

tsen tsam töpé barché yul lé gyal

Merely hearing your names brings victory in the battle over obstacles;

སྙིགས་དུས་གཟའ་ཀླུ་རྒྱལ་བསེན་འདུལ་བའི་གཉེན། །

nyikdü za lugyal sen dulwé nyen

Allies in subduing the graha,³ nāgas and evil spirits of these degenerate times;

པདྨ་དྲག་ཁྲོས་ཁྲོ་རྒྱལ་རྟ་ཁྱུང་ལ། །

pema drak trö trogyal ta khyung la

'Wrathful Lotus’ King of the Wrathful Ones, Hayagrīva and Garuḍa—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་མཆོག་ཐུན་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

solwa deb so choktün ngödrub tsol

To you I pray: grant me the attainments, ordinary and supreme!

དེ་ལྟར་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་པའི་བྱིན་རླབས་ཀྱིས། །

detar solwa tabpé jinlab kyi

Through the blessings of praying in this way,

སྣང་གསུམ་འཕོ་བའི་བག་ཆགས་ཡོངས་བཅོམ་སྟེ། །

nang sum powé bakchak yong chom té

May the habitual obscurations of the three appearances of transference⁴ be eliminated,

སྒོ་གསུམ་རྡོ་རྗེ་གསུམ་དང་དབྱེར་མེད་ཀྱིས། །

go sum dorjé sum dang yermé kyi

And, with my three doors inseparable from the three vajras,

དོན་དམ་ཧེ་རུ་ཀཿདཔལ་མངོན་གྱུར་ཤོག །

döndam heruka pal ngöngyur shok

May I actualize the glorious, ultimate Heruka!

ཅེས་པའང་སརྦ་བྷ་དྲ་བི་ཛ་ཡས་བསྐུལ་ངོར་འགྱུར་མེད་རྡོ་རྗེ་པས་བྲིས་པ་དགེ། །།
