Professional Graces – Working with Social Anxieties
July 25 @ 11:00 am PDT - 12:00 pm PDT
At work, are you as approachable as you think you are? Do you feel confident in understanding social cues? Are you sure? Join us as we discuss social anxieties in the workplace, with a special focus on digital inclusion efforts. This session will provide valuable insights to help us better understand social anxieties, including those related to neurodivergence, anxiety, and depression. Our panel will be led by DeAnne Cuellar, Associate Director for Outreach, Community Broadband Networks, at the Institute for Local Self-Reliance. The panel will also include Cordelia Mcgee-Tubb, a design technologist, digital accessibility specialist (and cartoonist!), and Skye Downing, Director of Programs and Partnerships for CTN. This session will offer practical knowledge to create more inclusive and supportive environments for everyone.
