We are currently hiring for the following positions: Bilingual Digital Literacy Instructors: Instructors must be bilingual speakers of English and Spanish, Tagalog, Korean, or Cantonese. CTN Hiring for New Leadership Position

As an organization, Community Tech Network is facing a pivotal point in its history. Over the past year, we rapidly shifted our organizational structure to accommodate remote instruction. At the same time, the pandemic prompted a broader societal shift as more and more social services have moved to online formats. This has sharply highlighted the long-standing digital literacy gap as millions of people are unable to fully access important information and resources. CTN is preparing to scale our impact like never before, and we need the right person to help steer the ship. We are currently seeking a dynamic, passionate, and collaborative Executive Managing Director to co-lead the organization alongside CTN’s co-founder, Kami Griffiths. “We are excited to announce this new leadership position within CTN,” says Kami. “The person selected to fill this role will help lead our team and manage day-to-day operations of the business. We’re Hiring: Bilingual Digital Literacy Instructors

Community Tech Network is excited to announce new openings for part-time bilingual digital literacy instructors. Those selected to fill this position will play a key role in educating older adults and learners on how to navigate the internet safely and effectively. They will also collaborate with team members to develop and improve digital literacy programs. These are the primary responsibilities for the position: Delivering one-on-one or group training to help adults learn and practice how to use the internet Supporting the program manager in volunteer orientation and other tasks when needed Conducting pre- and post-program assessments Managing data Coordinating how we deliver our services We are looking for personable, hard-working team players who are open to learning new things, able to work on their own initiative, and enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment. Instruction will take place online using Zoom and a screen-sharing program and in person at a variety of training sites in San Francisco and the East Bay. We’re Hiring: Volunteer and Program Coordinator

Community Tech Network is excited to announce a new position opening for a full-time Volunteer and Program Coordinator. The person selected to fill this position will play a key role in coordinating the lifeblood of CTN— our volunteers! Primary responsibilities include fielding inquiries from potential volunteers; recruiting, interviewing, and on-boarding volunteers; supporting volunteers with check-ins and training; performing various administrative tasks; and maintaining our volunteer database. We are seeking someone energetic and enthusiastic about documenting and promoting digital inclusion activities. The selected candidate’s work style must be a healthy blend of initiative and collaboration, self-direction, and teamwork. Our new employee will be a personable hard-working team player who is open to learning new things, works well on their own initiative, and enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment. The preferred candidate will be passionate about digital literacy, public access to technology, and engaging marginalized and underserved populations as part of a diverse nonprofit team.
