Season’s greetings from Community Tech Network! As we usher in the holidays, may your days be filled with joy, shared laughter, cozy moments with loved ones, and the warmth of hot cocoa. At Community Tech Network, we’re dedicated to transforming lives through digital equity, and this holiday season, we extend our heartfelt wishes for a wonderful and inclusive celebration for all.
DOUBLE Your Donation!
We have a MATCH! Through the month of December, CTN is running our annual End of Year Fundraising campaign. As our partners in the nonprofit sector know, raising funds in this manner is a lifeline to continuing our mission, enhancing our service offerings, and expanding the digital equity ecosystem to reach new, high-need communities.
Please think of us as you are considering the causes you plan to support with your charitable contributions for 2023. As an incentive, from Tuesday, December 19th to Thursday, December 21st, a generous donor has offered a $1000 MATCH CHALLENGE. All incoming donations to CTN will be matched dollar for dollar, up to a total of $1,000!
Every donation, large or small, counts! Mark your calendars and give what you can to double your donation, and your impact, this year!

It’s a heartfelt tribute to the holidays that hold a special place in their hearts, spanning from Thanksgiving to Chanukah to Lunar New Year and beyond.
We’re thrilled to offer this cookbook as a complimentary download on our website. It’s our way of spreading the joy of the holidays and embracing the diverse cultural celebrations within our community.
CTN’s 15th Anniversary
Can you believe that Community Tech Network recently celebrated its 15th anniversary as a nonprofit?
Earlier this month, we hosted an anniversary celebration in San Francisco and had an amazing night with delicious food and fantastic speakers including our Master of Ceremonies, Marc Smolowitz, and guest speakers Aurora Alvarado, Program Manager for the Healthy Aging & Disability Program at Mission Neighborhood Centers, Inc.; Rey LaChaux, Digital Equity Program Manager Partner for the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development; and long-time CTN Learners Anna Chou and William Marotta.
The evening took an extra-celebratory turn with Jennifer Bolen, Legislative Aide, arriving to present a Certificate of Honor from Office of Supervisors Preston and Dorsey for our work in San Francisco’s high-need South of Market and Tenderloin neighborhoods!
Thank you so much to our event sponsor, Insperity, and to Tito’s and Carol Simmons for donating fantastic door prizes. We are also extremely grateful for everyone who generously donated to our mission, either upon receiving the invitation or at the event itself. Most importantly, thank you to all of our partners, funders, learners, volunteers, board members, and staff who attended!
As we look forward to our next 15 years of digital equity work, we know that we have a wonderful community of supporters by our side.
Have a safe and wonderful end of the year. Thank you for continuing to support our mission.
