Need a LIFT? Limited-Time Opportunity: Qualified Agencies Can Now Enroll in Individual DigitalLIFT Modules

  • December 22, 2022
  • DigitalLIFT, General

Great news! Community Tech Network has seen incredible success with our DigitalLIFT training model. In this capacity-building initiative, we’re training agency leaders in Caldwell, Bastrop, and Hays counties in Texas to better serve their clients by integrating digital literacy programming into their daily service delivery.

We know that many agencies in these areas were interested in DigitalLIFT but could not commit to completing the entire six-month program. We are pleased to announce that the DigitalLIFT training modules are now being made available individually as part of our pilot program.

If you are an agency leader in Caldwell, Bastrop, or Hays counties, we would like you to consider the positive impact this capacity-building effort could have on your team and future programming or service delivery.

Choose from the following modules:

  • Module 1: Overview of the Digital Divide and Assessing the Need
  • Module 2: Analyzing the Data, Program Types, Internet Options, Device Options
  • Module 3: Creating a Program Plan and Program Evaluation, Networking/Outreach (Reporting Out)
  • Module 4: Broadband and Device Acquisition and Conducting Training Activities (TtT)
  • Module 5: Reviewing and Finalizing Program Plan and Scheduling and Promotion
  • Module 6: Program Staffing and Volunteers/Volunteer Recruitment and Management

But, wait, it gets better! For every module completed, the agency will receive an honorarium of $1,000! An agency may participate in up to five modules and receive up to $5,000 per agency.

Up to two agency members can participate in each module, and the agency may enroll different team members in separate learning opportunities. Consider sending an overseer of programs to Modules 2, 3, and 5 and the volunteer management team to Module 6 — or any combination that works for you. Take up to five modules.

Please note that while this learning is provided free of charge through the generous support of the St David’s Foundation, funding is limited, and ALL modules must be completed by January 2023!

CTN’s DigitalLIFT training will give your organization a road map to all that we’ve learned over the past 14 years so that you can gain the skills needed to successfully develop, implement, and sustain digital literacy programs in your service delivery. We also offer wraparound services and are here to answer any questions and connect you with a community of agencies all working together to improve technological skills, supply equitable access inside underserved communities, and remove barriers that continue to feed the digital divide.

Act fast — this offer expires soon!
